Stake Confirms Exclusive F1 Title Sponsorship
The exclusivity agreement will span the 2024 and 2025 Formula One season, seeing the team now referred to as the Stake F1 Team. Stake became a co-title sponsor of the Sauber team last year, and the team was known as Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake for the length of the 2023 season.
The social media accounts for the team will be updated to reflect the new Stake F1 Team name.
According to Stake, the brand made its F1 debut last year with a series of one-of-a-kind activations. These centred on cross-collaborations with other team members.
Stake is preparing a number of high-profile F1 activations in 2024, including the February introduction of the new C44 vehicle.
Team representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi told that the new deal was “the natural and exciting next step”.
Bravi added: “Stake not only successfully tapped into Formula One’s growing fan base to enhance its own community… [It] also introduced a completely new audience to the sport.
“We had the opportunity to participate in some incredible activations with some of Stake’s ambassadors.”
Argentine football great Sergio Aguero and Canadian musician Drake were among those who took part in the activations.
Stake chief marketing officer Akhil Sarin said:
“The first phase of this partnership has succeeded in increasing global brand awareness for all stakeholders. At Stake, we are prepared to take the team’s reach, fanbase and visibility to unprecedented levels.”
