LeoVegas Shows Support for EuroPride 2023
The LGBTIQ+ community celebration EuroPride will be sponsored by the LeoVegas Group in 2023.
Each year, the festival brings thousands of visitors from all over the world together for 10 days of education and fun.
The festival, which will include performances, roundtable talks, and artwork, will run from September 7th through September 17 in Valletta, the capital of Malta. Christina Aguilera, who is the spokesperson for EuroPride 2023, will perform at the festival's finale event.
LeoVegas' support for the occasion comes after it frequently supported the neighborhood's Malta Pride celebration.
“We are proud to demonstrate our commitment to equality for all,” LeoVegas Malta CFO and MD, Stefan Nelson, said.
“At LeoVegas, equality, diversity and inclusion are ingrained in our culture and we eagerly look forward to supporting EuroPride’s mission of equality.”
LeoVegas' funding was praised by Maria Azzopardi, head of Allied Rainbow Communities, the organisation that plans EuroPride.
“We’re delighted to announce our collaboration with LeoVegas for the EuroPride 2023. Their commitment to diversity and inclusion aligns seamlessly with our mission.
“Their support is a significant stride towards promoting equality and highlighting the vitality of the LGBTIQ+ community. This collaboration will bring a positive impact to the festival, and we can’t wait for it to start.”
The collaboration follows last month's announcement by French national lottery operator Française des Jeux (FDJ) of a cooperation with a national LGBT+ organisation for Pride Month.
As part of its dedication to diversity and inclusion, FDJ will now collaborate with l'Autre Cercle. According to the operator, this will boost continuing efforts to include LGBT+ persons in the workforce.
