APERCON Launches Strategic Acquisition Program to Acquire hi-tech iGaming Platform

APERCON, a European iGaming holding and a key player in iGaming consulting and C-level executive recruitment, has launched a structured tender to acquire advanced iGaming platform products.

The tender targets young or sustainable technology-driven iGaming platforms and engineering teams considering investment or exit, while supporting the long-term development of talent within the iGaming ecosystem.

According to the company, the initiative forms part of APERCON’s long-term strategy to secure a proprietary iGaming platform capable of supporting high-load B2C operations across both regulated and emerging markets.

Strategic Intent

As part of its expansion roadmap, APERCON is actively seeking to acquire a platform product that can serve as a scalable and flexible technological backbone for B2C operators, enabling rapid deployment, performance efficiency, and long-term product evolution.

The tender is open to:

• Independent iGaming platform vendors
• Product-centric engineering teams
• B2C-ready platform businesses exploring M&A opportunities or capital injection

The company emphasised that the focus is on production-ready technology, rather than early-stage concepts.

Key Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate:

• Strong technological and R&D expertise
• A working MVP or live platform
• An in-house technical team of at least eight specialists
• Minimum five years of proven experience in iGaming
• A robust and flexible in-house architecture
• Proven ability to support high-performance B2C operations, including scalability and speed

Platforms developed for B2C casino, betting, or hybrid operators are of particular interest.

Transaction Scope

Depending on the project profile, APERCON may consider:

• Full acquisition of the platform business
• Majority buy-outs
• Strategic investment with a clearly defined M&A trajectory

Next Steps

The tender is now open. Shortlisted candidates will proceed to technical due diligence and product audits, followed by strategic discussions with APERCON.

It should be noted that in 2025 APERCON completed a large-scale acquisition of a European game provider, which is currently operating with strong performance across Europe, Latin America, and South Africa.
