Lauranne Urban, Chief Marketing Officer of SiGMA Group, has joined Gamblers Connect’s 2026 Contributors Program, where she will explore integrated marketing, leadership and the practical use of AI and data.
Urban is the tenth contributor announced by the B2B iGaming media platform, which introduces one senior industry professional each month. Content is published under the Gamblers Connect Contributor Editorial Code.
Her contributions will examine how marketing teams can build connected campaigns across markets and use data to support their day-to-day operations.
Urban oversees marketing for SiGMA Group’s eight annual summits across four continents, together with a creative department of approximately 100 people. She began her career with the company through a language internship programme more than five years ago, subsequently rising to CMO.
That experience will inform her coverage of global marketing leadership and the role of events within broader campaigns. Her articles will consider the full audience journey, from initial engagement before an event through to communication during and after it.
Luka Dimitrijevic, Partnerships and Operations Lead at Gamblers Connect, said:
“Lauranne runs marketing for eight summits a year with a creative team of around a hundred people, and she came up through the company rather than arriving at the top. That matters.
“What she brings is the operating side of marketing: how you keep that many people on one brand, and how data actually gets used rather than just collected. Through the Contributors Program she will share practical insight on integrated marketing, global leadership, and AI and data, written by someone who does this work every week.”
Urban’s opening contribution will be published on her contributor profile and within the Gamblers Connect Contributors section. The platform will reveal the final two members of its 2026 programme in November and December.
Gamblers Connect has disclosed that it also has a media collaboration with SiGMA Play, part of SiGMA Group, announced in August. The contributor initiative remains separate from this arrangement and from its Best iGaming Media 2026 nomination at the SiGMA World Awards.
