Nordic Partners Gaming (NPG) will document its Counter-Strike 2 roster’s bid to reach the global Top 50 through a new series exploring the realities of competitive esports.

The Malta-based esports and gaming business acquired the team earlier this year at a world ranking of 123, with plans to develop the roster and share its progress.

The series will feature two monthly episodes on NPG’s YouTube channel. Viewers will follow the team through tournaments, preparation and tactical sessions, with coverage also examining the setbacks and challenges involved in climbing the rankings.

The first teaser was scheduled to appear shortly after the team’s opening series at its Porto tournament.

The roster has already achieved early milestones under NPG, recording its first series win and securing a joint third–fourth finish at the Exort Fiesta Series. That result also brought the team its first prize money.

Håvard Lehn, CEO of Nordic Partners Gaming, commented:

"What excites me about this project is giving people a real, unique look at what we’re building at NPG — what it takes to become a pro, climb through the ranks and deal with the setbacks along the way. It’s about the people behind the nicknames, the team dynamics, the preparation, game insights, wins, losses and everything in between. We want to show the full experience of competing, improving and growing together as a team."

The team’s competition calendar featured the $30,000 LEON.BET tournament in Porto, Portugal, scheduled for 24–27 September, followed by ROG Journey in Skövde, Sweden, on 2–3 October.

The Swedish event carried a $20,000 prize pool and was set to give the roster a chance to face some of the more established names in Counter-Strike.

NPG has also expanded its content activity by signing Runar "Mystixx" Borge as an official streamer, building a closer connection with the Norwegian gaming community.

Lehn added:

"We're really pleased to welcome Mystixx to the team. He gives us a much closer connection to the Norwegian gaming community, and we're looking forward to growing NPG together."
