Mobile Sports Betting Goes Live in Puerto Rico

The mobile sportsbook service offered by Entain and MGM Resorts International (under the brand name BetMGM) has officially launched in Puerto Rico. Users of the app can place pre-game, in-play, future, and parlay wagers at Casino del Mar at La Concha Resort. Customers will be able to trade in their app play for experiences at any of MGM Resorts' hotels and casinos in the United States, thanks to the app's integration with the MGM Rewards loyalty programme.

The MGM Rewards loyalty programme will be included into the app so that users may exchange in-game currency for real-world rewards at any of MGM Resorts' locations in the United States.

As soon as retail sports betting was legalised in Puerto Rico in February 2022, BetMGM was the first operator to roll it out. The debut of this product was supported by Casino del Mar as well. BetMGM established a brick-and-mortar sportsbook and lounge in December 2022. Before placing bets online, customers must verify their identities at a brick-and-mortar sportsbook.
