Zeal Releases Gaming Collection in Germany
Zeal, a producer of slot games, declared that its B2C subsidiary had opened its collection of games in Germany.
German players can now access Zeal's games via the B2C subsidiary Lotto24 and sibling brand Tipp24's online store.
The Joint Gaming Authority of the Federal States (GGL), a German gambling regulator, granted the company a licence in April.
Slot game developers commented that they have "for some time now" made their library of games accessible to outside operators like Lotto Hessen and Park Avenue Gaming.
Zeal stated that by the end of 2023, it hopes to have 200 different games available.
"The German licence enables us to create entirely new gaming experiences. Our determined investments in this business are now paying off," said Zeal CEO Helmut Becker. "Zeal's clear focus remains online lottery brokerage. With online games, however, we now have another product area that should quickly gain weight." Player safety is the priority for Zeal.
Additionally, the business asserted that it was a "pioneer" in the fields of player safety and addiction management.
"We are aware of the risk for players of addiction. That's why our clear claim is: we want to offer the highest standard of legal and safe gambling and nothing else, whether in lotteries or online games," said Zeal Instant Games managing director Julian Tietz.
"That's why we go beyond regulatory requirements in online games and work with innovative AI applications, among other things, to maximise security for our players." When Zeal initially got its German virtual slots licence in April, it declared the action to be a "strategic milestone" for the company because it meant the country's market leader in online lotteries would be entering the igaming industry.
