Spinomenal has expanded its game catalogue with 3 Wild Troopers, a 5x3 slot that combines three distinct bonus mechanics with a cartoon military theme.

Set in the desert, the release centres on coloured bomb symbols that add values, apply multipliers or collect amounts during the Bonus Game. A full grid awards a Grand Jackpot of 3,000x the bet.

How the bonus mechanics work

Standard black Bonus bombs carry a value of their own. Green, red and blue Special Bonus bombs introduce BOOST, MULTI and COLLECT functions.

BOOST selects one of six values — 2x, 3x, 4x, 5x, 7x or 10x the bet — and adds it to every symbol on the reels, while keeping the same value itself.

MULTI selects a 2x, 3x or 5x multiplier to apply across the grid. It then receives its own value based on the selected multiplier and the bet. COLLECT gathers the values attached to all visible Bonus symbols.

The Bonus Game also includes a rainbow MYSTERY bomb, which randomly changes into a BOOST, MULTI, COLLECT or Jackpot symbol.

Six symbols trigger the feature

Landing six or more qualifying symbols in one spin launches the Bonus Game, locking the triggering symbols in place and awarding three spins.

Only Bonus and Special Bonus symbols can appear during the round. Each newly landed symbol resets the spin counter to three, while empty positions can award multipliers of between 1x and 10x the bet.

The special mechanics available in a round are determined by the triggering Special Bonus symbols and any features revealed through MYSTERY bombs. Activated feature symbols can subsequently land naturally on the grid.

Mini, Minor and Major Jackpot bombs award 20x, 50x and 150x the total bet respectively. Occupying all 15 positions awards the 3,000x Grand Jackpot.

The round concludes after three consecutive spins without a new symbol, a full grid or the maximum win being reached. All Bonus symbol values are then totalled and paid.

A gold star medal acts as the Wild in the base game, substituting for symbols other than Bonus, BOOST, COLLECT, MULTI and Jackpot. Five Wilds award 10x the bet, four award 2x and three award 0.5x. Combinations of three or four require a Bonus or Special Bonus symbol immediately afterwards.

The release also features Bonus Blast, which can activate randomly following the collection of Special Bonus symbols over previous spins. Additional bombs are added to the reels, potentially creating a Bonus Game trigger. Bonus Buy is available at a cost based on the chosen bet.

Omer Henya, co-CEO of Spinomenal, said:

“3 Wild Troopers is explosive, fast and doesn't take itself too seriously. Each trooper controls a different part of the Bonus Game, so no two rounds play out the same way, and with the Grand Jackpot set at x3,000 there's a serious prize to chase while the bombs are going off.”
