The WSOP Online Circuit Event Begins!
Poker players' interests will switch online on Wednesday and continue through Sunday, Aug. 27, as the WSOP Online Circuit Event begins. At least $1.35 million in total guarantees will be given out in a WSOP Online Circuit Event, making it the talk of the poker world.
With $750,000 guaranteed over 12 events, the tournament serves the player-pooled states of Nevada and New Jersey with the biggest guaranteed prize pools.
Since the WSOP site in Michigan has yet to fully merge with other states despite the state's membership in the interstate gaming compact, it runs its own ring-fenced 12-tournament series with $300K in guarantees.
The same assurances also apply to Pennsylvania, which over four years after the first poker sites opened there, has yet to consent to any interstate player pooling.
All states have the same games and buy-ins, although Nevada and New Jersey's versions have re-entries for some events, somewhat different start times for other tournaments, and larger guarantees throughout the schedule.
For those preparing to participate in Event No. 8, it's important to understand that Pot-limit Omaha is only accessible on the desktop version of the programme, not mobile.
A spot in a freeroll at the live World Series on the Las Vegas Strip will be awarded to the winner of each tournament in addition to a WSOP gold ring. Only competitors who have won a WSOP Circuit event (live or online) are eligible to compete in the 2024 Tournament of Champions, which will provide $1 million in total prizes.
