Matthew Perry: Friends Star and Poker Lover Passes
Matthew Perry has died at the age of 54 years old. The Canadian actor who became famous on the hit TV show Friends was discovered unconscious in an outdoor hot tub. He is thought to have drowned. The police say there were no signs of wrongdoing.
Perry had problems with drink and drugs, which he was always very open about, but neither drug was found at the scene or in his system.
During breaks from acting on Friends, Perry would enjoy going to the casino, particularly the poker tables.
We first saw him play on the popular show Celebrity Poker Showdown, which ran from 2003 to 2006. Perry took part in the second event but went out in third place. He was called to the fourth event. He won Game 1 and got to play in The Championship Game, which was eventually won by Mekhi Phifer.
Here at Fire Casinos, we would like to share our sincere condolences to the Perry family.
