The iGaming and sports betting provider BetMGM and Borgata Hotel Casino and Spa have announced the introduction of Dual Play Roulette in New Jersey.

Dual Play Roulette offers multiplayer play between players at a real-world roulette table at a casino and online players, and it is provided by Evolution, a supplier of Live Casino solutions. This is the first Evolution Dual play game to be found in an MGM facility in North America.

Oliver Bartlett, BetMGM’s Director of Online Gaming, said:

“This is a great example of online and land-based casinos leveraging technology to bring players a better omnichannel experience. BetMGM is excited to launch Dual Play Roulette with Borgata, which has set the standard for gaming in Atlantic City for two decades.”

The Evolution Dual Play Roulette table will be properly positioned on the Borgata casino floor, and a number of cameras will be installed all around it to provide internet players a complete gaming experience.

James Bruno, Borgata’s VP of Casino Operations, said: “We are thrilled to unveil Dual Play Roulette on BetMGM and Borgata Online Casino, marking a momentous collaboration between two industry leaders.”

The joint venture between MGM Resorts and Entain, BetMGM, presented its H1 2023 report in July. It showed net revenue of $944 million, up 55% from H1 2022's total of $608 million.

Its EBITDA is stated to have crossed a "key milestone" for Q2 2023, despite the fact that BetMGM hasn't issued a comprehensive report on it.

Because of the strength of its H1 performance, BetMGM predicted that its annual revenue would range between $1.8 and $2 billion.
