Las Vegas Strip Gets New Skyscraper at The Casino Royale
The Las Vegas Strip, a well-known tourist attraction for people from all over the world, is going to get even more beautiful!
The Casino Royale site will get a new 699-foot-tall tower. After the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) got the go-ahead for the skyscraper's construction, this news was made public.
Before beginning construction, the FAA requested an aeronautical study, which Casino Royale financed. According to the company's website, the tower will be situated at 3411 Las Vegas Boulevard, just across from the Mirage Volcano. Little else is known at this time, other than the fact that "determination becomes final on August 30, 2023, unless a petition is timely filed."
If the FAA grants the building approval and Casino Royale receives a new wing, the new structure will rank among the biggest structures in all of Las Vegas. Only the infamous Strat will be bigger; the Fontainebleau is currently under construction.
And what do the updated plans entail for the Casino Royale's existing structure? The existing little casino will need to be torn down to make room for the new one, among other adjustments.
The FAA completed an aeronautical analysis that was extremely thorough and exact, down to the start date for building activity. The source claims that since the permission expires on January 21, 2025, building must begin before that date.
