Softswiss Reveal Interesting Sports Betting Data

White label provider, Softswiss, has conducted research into sports betting patterns, monitoring the use of its sportsbook product.

Accprding to the firm, Football, basketball, and tennis are the most popular sports among bettors using the Softswiss platform. What's more, Esports betting is on the up, according to Alexander Kamenetskyi, Head of Softswiss' Sportsbook, who believes punters need to monitor the development of cyber sports.

“The leading trio in sports by the Bet Sum holds no surprise, yet esports continues its remarkable expansion. Counter-Strike: Global Offensive has consolidated its position among the top 10 sports with a staggering 339% year-on-year surge in bets and a remarkable 388% increase in the Bet Sum.

“Following closely are League of Legends and Dota 2, shining in the realm of cybersports. This is a reminder for us to keep an eye on cybersports as the momentum continues to grow.”

According to the figures, only 22% of all bets were placed on desktop computers, with 78% of all wagers coming from mobile devices.

People are more impulsive bettors now that they can do it on their mobile phones, and they may be more willing to wager on a sporting event if they can do it on a portable device.

The Softswiss Sportsbook created a mobile application as a result, and it is now making it available to its partners.

According to data, live events account for 62% of all bets, and the average live event wager is twice as large as pre-match wagers.

The Softswiss Sportsbook staff now promotes the strategic use of incentives like Comboboost to encourage users to place more combination bets in light of this data.
